I hope you are all excited about Winter coming to an end. I know I am. The weekend has just passed and I am at home sick with flu. Another reason why I don’t like Winter. Well one bright side was that I found some time to do a quick SR lookbook post for Spring.
I am super excited that Spring is right around the corner and the fact that it is my birthday month is not the only reason why I love it. I just love Spring as it symbolizes new beginnings especially after a cold and dry winter.
I couldn’t wait to do looks for this Spring and thought a casual yet chic look is a great start.
I chose this Utility Duster paired with a white T-shirt and a Washed Indigo Slim Cropped Jean as my basics. For a casual yet chic look I accessorized with a pair of Soft Flexi Leather Loafers, a Paisley Print Scarf, a Fliplock Hobo Bag, Tortoises Sunglasses, Mimco Esplanade Wrist Bracelet and Engraved Button Studs. I am absolutely in love with this Utility Duster and the Olive Green is a huge bonus for me. I know most of you would have preferred more pop of colour because it’s Spring but I just love olive green. I’ll do more colour on the next look, I promise.
As you all know, I love my comfy-casual but I love it even more when I can take that same staples and dress it up for a more formal look, especially when you get that last minute invite to drink and dinner with the Girls or even better, with your man. Not to worry, it’s as easy as 123..
First slip on your favourite pair of heels…
Add a little bling like these stunning accessories…
Then for the finishing touch, swop your Hobo bag for a clutch, no need to be too fancy, it’s only dinner and drinks.
See, changing from day to night has never been easier. Get more out of your clothes by learning how to accessorize your staples for both a casual and formal look.
I’d love to hear what you think of these looks , so please like or leave a comment.
Till next time.
