It's a Cool Summer - Haute Cabrière

Travel Diaries - Franschhoek

· bloggerlife,summer holiday,traveljournal

Hello my Lovelies, wish I can say I'm still on my crazy-cool Summer but sadly I'm back home and back at work :-( I can seriously do this travelling thing as a living. I just love exploring new places, cultures and meeting new people. It was the best holiday ever. Guess that's one of the reason's why Travel and Tourism was top on my list in things to study. No wonder I'm a Travel Consultant, just wish I actually travelled for work but let's not get carried away now. This blog post is not a moaning session, it's to share my favourite & most memorable moments of my family vacation with you'll.

So let's get started...

This trip to the Cape included a lot of exploring of the Cape Wine Lands. Mostly the Stellenbosch & Franschhoek areas. Our first was Haute Cabrière (The Home of Pierre Jourdan) in Franschhoek which definitely was my best wine experience. I really learned a lot more about wine making and I popped a bottle of bubbly with a sabre. That is something I'll never ever forget...

The drive from Gordon's Bay to Franschoek was a scenic one indeed and once we arrived in Franschhoek you could see why the French decided to put down roots and call this beautiful valley home away from home.

I loved our time in Franschhoek and can't wait to go back and explore some more on my next trip to the Cape.

I'll some photo memories of our time at Boschendal Wine Estate & Spier Wine Estate in my next blog post. I hope you enjoyed this one xxx

With love always,

Lorelle
