OUR WHY
In 2016 our Founder Lorelle Campher started an online lifestyle blog to create a space where women collectively affirm, celebrate and love one another.
MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Welcome to Scarlette Raes. I am beyond excited that you are here. My heart has always been to spread light, love and hope to all. However this small town girl's personal journey to finding her own personal WHY started in 2008 when I realised my own inner light started to die. I saw positive change when I embarked on a journey seeking purpose and a life of abundance. One of the greatest gifts on this journey was the discovery of true community. I knew I wanted to give back and help others find the courage and drive to see it manifest in their own lives. Scarlette Raes was birthed in 2016 when WOMANHOOD and SISTERHOOD pulled on my heart the most.
OUR MISSION
Create and design products and services BY WOMEN FOR WOMEN. We believe our true authentic beauty flows from within. A beauty that is precious, priceless and unique. How we view and perceive our own beauty is key. Everything else added enhances the beauty we already possess.
OUR VISION
Create and build a community of women who collectively affirm, celebrate, champion, empower and inspire one another.
We truly hope you will join us as we embrace and celebrate our true authentic beauty as women.
A WOMAN IN PROGRESS CAMPAIGN
Imagine a world where we aren’t afraid to share our stories, stories that inspire, motivate, encourage and empower
PAYING IT FORWARD
We believe everyone have the capacity to give, whether it's big or small. We tend to think of money when we hear the word "giving" but there are tons of other ways to give. You can give in kind, show love or give of your time, skills or talent.
For the last 3 years we have supported a Port Elizabeth based non-profit organisation.
“Project Hope is a registered non-profit organization, with a vision to positively impact the lives of children in the Northern areas of Port Elizabeth. Founded in February 2000 by Mariana Crompton, we aim to address the neglect, abuse and poverty suffered by children in the Helenvale, Bethelsdorp, Bloemendal and Booysens Park suburbs. Gang violence, substance abuse and the high unemployment rate in our city has made for a formidable task, but shining a beacon of hope, and seeing the lives of hundreds of children improve, makes every effort worth it.” – from the Project Hope SA Website
